Where should I install my wind turbine?


Picking the Right Spot:

  1. Look for places with a good breeze and not too many tall buildings or obstacles for your wind turbine. If there are obstacles around, try to set it up as far away as possible. Or, if that’s not an option, make sure it’s at least 20 feet higher than the top of nearby obstacles (like in the picture) to catch the most wind.
  2. Hills are your friend! They have a growth effect that’s perfect for setting up your turbine (as you can see in the illustration).
  3. Stay away from cliffs and turbulent areas – they can mess with your turbine’s mojo and affect how well it works.
